The UAE is a leading model of global human solidarity and its humanitarian initiatives go beyond the limits of geography to promote peaceful coexistence and tolerance around the world.
That's according to the Vatican's Secretary of State, Cardinal Pietro Parolin, who highlighted it during a call with His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
The Cardinal expressed his solidarity with the UAE following the recent terrorist attacks offering his condolences to the families of those who died and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed thanked Cardinal Parolin, highlighting the outstanding role of the Vatican in serving humanitarian issues, and asserted the UAE's keenness to strengthen its relations with the Vatican across various levels.
