DEWA International explores partnerships with French energy firms

DEWA International has held talks with several leading French energy companies as it looks to expand its global presence following its launch last month.

The meetings focused on potential collaboration in areas including clean energy, power generation, water infrastructure and digital technologies, as the company explores opportunities to develop projects outside the UAE.

DEWA International was established in June as a wholly owned subsidiary of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority to develop conventional and renewable energy and water projects in international markets, while exporting Dubai's expertise in utility infrastructure.

The company has said it plans to work with governments, developers and financial institutions as it builds a pipeline of international projects and strategic partnerships.
