The number of Indian companies registered as active members of the chamber has now risen to 85,841 as of June 2026, representing an annual growth of 15 per cent.

It has also been revealed that non-oil trade with India reached a record AED222.5 billion in 2025, an annual growth of 15 per cent, while bilateral trade has risen by 136.2 per cent since 2016, up from AED94.2 billion, reinforcing India's position as Dubai's second-largest trading partner.

Between 2016 and 2025, Dubai has attracted Indian investments of around AED32.3 billion, including AED8.4 billion in foreign direct investment last year.

Meanwhile, Dubai-based companies invested AED34.1 billion across 147 projects in India between 2016 and 2025, contributing to the creation of 55,274 jobs.

During a panel session at the Economic Times World Leaders Forum 2026 in New Delhi, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah underlined the importance of the UAE-India Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), which came into effect in May 2022.

The agreement has helped businesses reduce trade barriers, improve market access and unlock wider growth opportunities in both markets.

The panel session also highlighted how cooperation between the two nations is increasingly extending into future-focused sectors including Agentic AI and the digital economy, which are expected to play an important role in the next phase of the partnership.
