UAE and Harvard to collaborate on economy

WAM

The UAE has signed a cooperation agreement with Harvard University to work on the country's economic policies.

The two-year collaboration will use academic expertise to build new economic models to support the Government.

Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy, says the agreement's a major milestone that paves the way towards the establishment of the ‘UAE Growth Lab’, launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, during his visit to the Ministry's headquarters last June.

He added that cooperation with academic and educational institutions plays a pivotal role in building and developing the workforce and knowledge economy.
