Adam Levine unveils massive back tattoo

Adam Levine has unveiled a giant mermaid tattoo which took six months to complete. The Maroon 5 singer, 36, shared a photo of the finished piece on his Instagram account on Monday (22.02.16) night and is thrilled with how the artwork turned out after going through multiple painful inking sessions. The body art itself is of a mermaid riding waves with a sailing ship and the sun in the background. Alongside a picture of it on Instagram, Adam wrote: "6 months in the making. Thanks @bryanrandolph for absolutely blowing my mind with this one! Woooo hooooo!!!! (sic)" The heavily-inked 'Sugar' hitmaker - who is married to 26-year-old model Behati Prinsloo - previously said he doesn't regret most of his tattoos apart from one "pretty stupid one", which resembles a cauliflower. He said: "I would never cover any of them up. 99.9 per cent of them. "I have one that is pretty stupid. I don't even know what it is. I saw a guy with these really cool Russian tattoos that I can't get because i'm not tough enough. So I got a horrible version of that. But it's just hideous. "It looks like a cauliflower, it's just despicable. "But the rest are OK so let's focus on those."
