Amber Heard's neighbour supports her case

Amber Heard's neighbour has given a deposition to support allegations Johnny Depp abused her. Raquel Rose Pennington has wrote to the court to allege the 52-year-old actor "slapped her hands away" when she broke up an argument between the former couple on May 21. Writing in a document for court, she claims: "[I got a text message] asking me to come over to her condominium unit. When I opened the door, I saw Amber by the couch, covering her head with her arms and hands, as Johnny was loudly screaming at her. I ran over and stood in between Johnny and Amber, begging Johnny to stop yelling at her. I put my hands out in a defensive manner motioning him to stop. Johnny slapped my hands away and screamed foul obscenities at me." Raquel - who has been friends with Amber for 13 years - went on to claim that the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' actor then picked up a large bottle of wine and "began swinging it like a baseball bat" in order to smash "everything he could". Following the incident, she says she brought Amber back to her home. Meanwhile, Amber previously claimed she is living in fear of Johnny. She said: "During the entirety of our relationship, Johnny has been verbally and physically abusive to me. I endured excessive emotional, verbal and physical abuse from Johnny, which has included angry, hostile, humiliating and threatening assaults to me whenever I questioned his authority or disagreed with him. I live in fear that Johnny will return to (our house) unannounced to terrorise me, physically and emotionally." Amber, 30, was granted a temporary restraining order against Johnny after she claimed he threw his iPhone at her face on Saturday (21.05.16). However, police found no evidence of an assault when they responded to a domestic dispute that evening. Johnny has denied the allegations made against him and his lawyer claims Amber is alleging abuse to "secure a premature financial resolution".
