'Avengers: Endgame' has made box-office history by raking in $1.2 billion in global ticket sales.
It becomes the first film to ever cross the billion-dollar benchmark in just five days.
It has smashed the previous global debut record of $640 million set by last year's Avengers: Infinity War.
In the US alone, Endgame, brought in a record $350 million, while in China it set a record $330.5 million.
The three-hour action spectacle also made history in Brazil, France, Egypt, South Africa and 38 other markets.
