A body discovered in California's Lake Piru has been identified as Naya Rivera.
The former Glee actress went missing on July 8 during a boating trip with her four-year-old son.
Divers and rescue teams used sonar equipment to locate the body, which was found on Monday.
Reports suggest that the 33-year-old star was able to save her son, who was found sleeping on the boat, but couldn't save herself.
The four-year-old toddler also told authorities that when he looked back, he saw his mother disappear under the surface of the water.
Ventura County Sheriff Bill Ayub said in a news conference that there was no indication of foul play in the incident.
The Glee cast took to Twitter to pay tribute to Rivera following her death.
