Bruno Mars to get Vegas residency

Bruno Mars is in talks for a Las Vegas residency. The 'Just The Way You Are' hitmaker is reportedly being lined up for a residency at Caesars Palace in Sin City and is expected to be paid up to a whopping £750,000 per show. A source told The Sun newspaper: "Caesars feels Bruno will bring something completely different - he can sing, dance and play. His music appeals to many ages and he can draw huge crowds. This will send a shock wave around the industry. "Bruno will use Vegas as his main home for his next tour rather than just trek around the world. Had things worked out differently Michael Jackson would now have a residency, Bruno is the closest modern version." The news comes as it was revealed that the 30-year-old singer's album has been delayed. His father Pete Hernandez said recently: "It was due in March, but by doing the Super Bowl, it threw him back several months. "Bruno has seven great new songs - I've heard 'em - but the album should now be released in September or October, to qualify for next year's Grammy Awards." Sound engineer Charles Moniz previously teased that the 'Uptown Funk' star was working on a new musical movement. He said: "I think it's going to be the next movement of Bruno. That's the thing: When the vibe's right and everyone's having fun, that's when the best music comes out."
