A world-class music studio, led by celebrated music maestro AR Rahman, will be unveiled at District 2020.
Named Firdaus Studio by AR Rahman, the studio will help nurture and boost local talent, and continue to function even after the momentous Expo 2020 Dubai ends.
That's not all, Rahman will also launch a nation-wide talent hunt for the Firdaus Women’s Orchestra, which will bring together 50 musicians from across the UAE and MENA region to create a unique project.
"The Firdaus Studio by AR Rahman and the Firdaus Women’s Orchestra are both inspiring projects that will be responsible for so much creativity in the run-up to Expo 2020," said Marjan Faraidooni, Chief Pavilions and Exhibitions Officer at Expo 2020 Dubai, adding that it resonates with the Expo 2020 theme.
