The legendary multi-Academy Award-winning composer Hans Zimmer is bringing his globally celebrated Hans Zimmer Live concert to Abu Dhabi for the first time.

The concert, organised by Remote Control Productions and Integral Visions Events, in partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and Miral, will take place at the Etihad Arena, Yas Island on May 31, 2025.

Hans Zimmer, along with his virtuoso band, dancers, and special guest performers, will transport audiences through some of the most iconic soundtracks in cinematic history, including Interstellar, The Lion King, Dune, and more.

Adding a special touch to the Abu Dhabi performance, Zimmer will celebrate the Emirate’s significant role in the Dune films, with key scenes from Dune and Dune: Part Two having been filmed in Abu Dhabi.

“I am very excited to be performing for the first time in the city where DUNE TWO was filmed and served as the inspiration for the score.” said Hans Zimmer. “This is our last stop of the Hans Zimmer Live tour and we are thrilled to be ending our world tour in Abu Dhabi.”

Zimmer will be joined on stage by the original voices behind the soundtracks of Dune, Gladiator, and The Lion King, alongside an ensemble of instrumental virtuosos and world-class performers.

“We are thrilled to welcome Hans Zimmer to Abu Dhabi for the very first time,” said Omar Saab, Chief Executive Officer of Integral Visions Events. “This event is a testament to Abu Dhabi’s growing reputation as a global cultural and entertainment hub, and we can’t wait for audiences to experience Zimmer’s genius in the spectacular setting of Etihad Arena.”
