The one-off “Jakku” experience has been unveiled at the Middle Eastern premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The film was showed for the first time in the region on Wednesday evening, at a glittering black carpet affair in the UAE’s capital. The Abu Dhabi desert served as the backdrop for the film’s planet “Jakku” and guests were able to experience that planet in the form of creatures, props and set pieces from the film. Eeman al Ansari was a production assistant on the set and shared her experience with ARN.
