Jordin Sparks and Sage split

Jordin Sparks and Sage the Gemini have split up. The 'Battlefield' singer and 'Gas Pedal' hitmaker have called time on their 10-month relationship, a source has confirmed to Us Weekly magazine. Though it is unclear why the pair have split, the news comes after Sage, 23, described himself as "weak" and said he needed to be better because his own "jealous" streak was affecting his relationship. In an Instagram post in December, which was accompanied by a shirtless selfie, he wrote: "Mentally and physically I am weak. I am seeing and feeling myself get weaker says the old me. My imagination is a horrible place that I battle with in my relationship (being jealous) etc I say to myself maybe I should work out till I push evil thoughts out of me and ask God to shine light in the dark I'm f--kin myself up. "I need to be a better man all the way around. So with that being said I will do so. Right now I'm actin like a bitch I'm makin bitch moves so I need to change that if I can get motivational words from you guys that would be amazing. Thanks. (sic)" The couple were first rumoured to be dating in April 2015 after Jordin, 23, split from her ex-boyfriend Jason Derulo. And though they were only together a short time, the 'American Idol' winner even discussed the possibility of marrying the rapper in the future. She said: "It's very early, but I'm not the type of person who stays in a relationship if I can't see it going further than a casual relationship. "I could see marriage, but we haven't really planned anything. He does call me his wife, though." However in December, Sage - whose real name is Dominic Wynn Woods - shared the Instagram post, which seemingly indicated things had soured between the couple. The pair have now unfollowed one another on social media.
