Kelly Ripa returns to present Live

Kelly Ripa will return to 'Live' on Tuesday. The 45-year-old presenter is set to make a reluctant return to the ABC show after TV bosses at the channel and Disney assured her it won't be axed, following the news her co-anchor Michael Strahan is leaving. The blonde beauty was furious that she had been left in the dark about her co-host being poached by their rivals 'Good Morning America'. And producers are now left to decide whether allowing Kelly and Michael to present live on air together while he works out his notice period is a good idea. The pair reportedly don't see eye to eye and ABC bosses are worried she'll call him out live on TV for what she sees as a betrayal over his failure to tell her he was leaving. It is thought they will let him leave straight away and either leave Kelly to carry the show on her own or let her bring in a interim replacement and possible names put forward are Andy Cohen or Anderson Cooper, according to the New York Post. Michael - who is aged 44 and a retired American football player - joined the show in 2012 but prior to that, Kelly presented on her own and with the guest hosts, after Regis Philbin left in 2011.
