Melanie C, Jax Jones to perform at Emirates Dubai 7s

Melanie C and Jax Jones are set to headline the Beats on 2 stage at Emirates Dubai 7s in November.

Melanie C will take to the stage on Saturday, November 28, bringing her lifelong passion for dance music, including house, techno, and euphoric club classics.

Having established worldwide fame as one fifth of the Spice Girls, the best-selling female band of all-time, before going on to enjoy a successful solo career, Melanie C has sold over 100 million records globally.

Within the last 12 months, the Liverpudlian has headlined the Apple Music Stage at the TCS London Marathon and performed for Chanel, while previously she has entertained fans at major global events such as Coachella and the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix.

Meanwhile, Jax Jones will bring his unmistakable energy to Dubai 7s on Sunday, November 29, playing chart favourites including You Don’t Know Me and Breathe.

A globally renowned DJ and producer, Jax Jones has sold over 60 million singles and achieved nine billion streams since rising to prominence in 2014 when he featured on I Got You, Duke Dumont’s smash hit which topped the UK chart.

Over the course of his career, he has been nominated for a host of awards at prestigious ceremonies such as the Brits, Grammys and Ivor Novellos.

The Beats on 2 stage is well known now as Dubai 7s’ ultimate party spot throughout the weekend, with Tinie Tempah and DJ EZ performing up there last year.

Mathew Tait, Festival Director of Emirates Dubai 7s, said the two artists are "fantastic DJs who will undoubtedly elevate the party atmosphere with their performances at Beats on 2".

The Middle East’s largest sports and entertainment festival returns to The Sevens Stadium from Friday, November 27-29, ahead of the UAE National Day holiday, with tickets for the three-day event now on sale.

More artists are set to be announced, including the headliners for the Frequency on 8 stage.

Tickets can be purchased on the Dubai 7s official website and app.
