Zooey Deschanel's daughter is called Elsie Otter. The 'New Girl' star and her husband Jacob Pechenik welcomed a baby girl in July and have finally revealed their chosen name for the little tot. Speaking to PEOPLE at the 'Rock the Kasbah' premiere, Zooey and Jacob revealed the news together. They said: "It's Elsie Otter. Like the animal. Sea otter." And the 35-year-old mother has big plans for her little girl, recently joking the three-month-old was going to run for president. Taking to Twitter, she shared: "My infant daughter is going to run for president. She remains silent all of the key issues but she's much cuter than Donald Trump." And the baby is "extremely cute", according to Zooey's 'New Girl' co-star Lamorne Morris. The 32-year-old actor said: "She's an extremely cute baby. She looks like Zooey. Two good-looking parents will make a good-looking kid. Unless there's that one where you're like, 'Oh, you're going to make a terrible child.' But that was not gonna happen with these two. "She's a great mom to us on set. She puts the hammer down on the craziness we do from time to time."
