Bahrain, Kuwait temporarily close airspace

WAM

Bahrain has announced the temporary suspension of air navigation within the Kingdom's airspace.

The Civil Aviation Affairs at Bahrain's Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications said this measure is a precautionary step taken in light of evolving regional developments.

Bahraini authorities are closely monitoring developments in coordination with international partners, and emphasised the importance of following official instructions.

Kuwait has also shut down its airspace until further notice, Kuwaiti news agency Kuna reported.
