Chelsea Manning has been released from prison.

The former US intelligence analyst has been freed despite not agreeing to testify before an investigation into Wikileaks.

The 31-year-old was held for more than 60 days after a US judge ordered her taken into custody two months ago.

Manning will now appear before a grand jury later this month.

In 2013 she was charged with espionage for leaking secret military files to Wikileaks
