Debris believed to be from a cargo plane that crashed this week with 38 people aboard has been found.
The Chilean Air Force said the wreckage was found floating near where the C-130 Hercules plane last made contact.
The parts have been sent for analysis, while the cause of the crash is being investigated.
Ships belonging to the Brazilian Ministry of Defence have also recovered personal items and debris compatible with the plane, near the southern Argentine city of Ushuaia in Patagonia.
The aircraft had disappeared on Monday, shortly after taking off from Punta Arenas.
