Mauritius is enforcing travel restrictions for seven days following a decision by the island's National COVID-19 Committee.
No passengers will be allowed to enter or transit while the flight ban is imposed.
Travel is also suspended to the outer island of Rodrigues.
Airline crew will be allowed entry but they will have to abide by the Mauritian Ministry of Health's protocols.
The Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority will issue updates regarding any developments.
