Kuwait International Airport suffers 'significant damage' after drone attacks

Kuwait International Airport has suffered "significant damage" to its radar system after being targeted by multiple drone attacks, according to a statement from Kuwait's General Authority of Civil Aviation.

The statement added that no human casualties have been reported, but emergency teams and relevant authorities have immediately begun to deal with the incident.

The Official Spokesperson for the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Abdullah Al-Rajhi, told the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that they are fully committed to continued coordination with relevant authorities to take all necessary measures to maintain the security and safety of civil aviation in the State of Kuwait.
