China has confirmed it will go ahead with planned talks in Washington to try and bring an end to the trade war.
That's despite US President Donald Trump's latest tariff threats, which could kick in as early as Friday.

Violence flared in the occupied West Bank on Sunday when a suspected Palestinian gunman shot dead an Israeli man, police said, and Israeli soldiers killed a Palestinian motorist who the military said was attempting to run them over.
