A United Airlines flight skidded off a runway Saturday at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey, leading to delays.

No injuries were reported after the United Airlines Flight 627 from Denver "experienced multiple flat tyres" on landing.

"Preliminary indication is that tires blew out on the left main landing gear as the aircraft was landing," the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said in a statement.

Flights in and out of Newark were delayed while passengers deplaned and the aircraft was moved.
