The Bahraini Ministry of Interior (MOI) announced on Sunday that three people were injured and material damage was caused to a university building in the Muharraq area, northeast of Bahrain, as a result of missile fragments falling.

In a post on X, the Bahrain MOI claimed: "As a result of the blatant Iranian aggression, 3 people were injured and material damage was inflicted on a university building in the Muharraq area after missile fragments fell."

The Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported that the General Command of the Bahrain Defense Force affirmed that the use of ballistic missiles and drones to target civilian objects and private property constitutes a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and the Charter of the United Nations, and that these heinous and indiscriminate attacks represent a direct threat to regional peace and security.

In another post on X, the Bahrain MOI reported that "Iranian aggression indiscriminately attacked civilian targets and caused material damage to a water desalination plant following a drone attack."
