The United Nations Secretary-General has strongly condemned the military escalation in Libya, amid fears of a renewed civil war.
It follows bombing of the capital's airport by the Libyan National Army who are trying to take control of Tripoli from the western-backed government.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Tuesday negotiating a deal with Iran could "take a few days," quashing hopes for an imminent end to the conflict a day after US forces conducted what Washington called defensive strikes in southern Iran.
