The UAE confirmed 2,062 new cases of COVID-19 from 233,038 tests on Friday.
Another 2,035 people have recovered, taking the overall tally to 558,584.
Two patients have died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 1,691.
A total of 579,009 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 18,734 are currently active.
The Ministry of Health conducts 233,038 tests as part of its plans to expand the scope of the tests, and reveals 2,062 new cases of the #Coronavirus, 2,035 recoveries and 2 death cases due to complications. #TogetherWeRecover
