The UAE confirmed 54 new cases of COVID-19 from 235,292 tests on Friday.
Another 79 people have recovered, taking the overall tally to 737,186.
The total number of fatalities remains 2,148 as no COVID-19 related deaths were reported in the past 24 hours.
A total of 742,227 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 2,893 are currently active.
