The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA) has launched an app to allow the public to view food outlet evaluation scores.
The Zadna Rating app will display scores as part of efforts to provide safe and healthier food to the public and encourage food outlets to better their performance to raise food safety level across Abu Dhabi.
The new app can either be downloaded from ADAFSA website or accessed via the evaluation sticker placed on the frontside of food establishments.
H.E. Saeed Al Bahri Al Ameri, Director General of ADAFSA, said: “The Zadna Rating initiative aims to enhance Abu Dhabi's efforts to develop safe and sustainable food systems, establish standards of quality life and well-being, and promote the emirate as a distinguished tourist destination in implementation of the vision of the wise leadership.
“Zadna Rating is one of the key strategic initiatives launched by ADAFSA as part of its Strategic Plan 2022-2025, which is endorsed by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of the Presidential Court, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority.”
