Two healthcare facilities in Abu Dhabi have been temporarily shut down following a series of violations.
The Department of Health (DoH) said it took action against a day surgery centre due to "violations that pose a significant threat to the health and safety of community members".
It also ordered the closure of a medical centre, which is currently being investigated for alleged financial violations.
The DoH has called on all health facilities operating in the emirate to comply with its policies and regulations, and provide services in line with international best practices.
