Ajman Police returned a missing seven-year-old child to his parents within an hour of going missing in the Manama area of the emirate.
The child was lost on a main road in the area. He was spotted by a civilian and accompanied to the Manama Police station.
The authority managed to find the child’s parents within an hour, after conducting an investigation.
"Since there were no reports of a missing child Basher, the center has been searching and investigating to reach the owners of the missing child in the area, and after identifying the owners, they were contacted and the child was handed over within less than an hour," Ajman Police said.
The head of the Manama Police station called on parents to be vigilant towards their children, ensuring doors are locked to avoid them wandering into the streets.
