The Saudi-led Arab coalition has launched an offensive in areas controlled by Houthi rebels in Damt in the province of Dhale southwest of Yemen. Meanwhile violent clashes raged in various parts of Taiz between Houthi militias and national resistance fighters. Military reinforcements were also deployed to assist the national resistance fighters from Aden to the border between Taiz and Lahej. This comes as a Yemeni medical source confirmed today that the Houthi militia and the Ali Saleh group targeted the General Hospital Authority in Taiz, when they unleashed more than 13 shells on the hospital, injuring the medical staff. The Yemeni news agency quoted the source as saying that the missiles and hail of bullets rained on all sections of the hospital and its surroundings, including the intensive care unit, where 10 critical cases are admitted.
