Submissions for the 26th edition of the Arab Media Award will open on Tuesday, October 20, with entries accepted until March 1, 2027.
Organised by the Dubai Press Club, the award recognises excellence, innovation and outstanding contributions across Arab media.
It features two main categories, the Arab Journalism Award and the Visual Media Award, alongside the Media Personality of the Year honour.
Journalism categories include Political Journalism, Economic Journalism, Investigative Reporting and Best Columnist.
The Visual Media Award covers Best Economic Programme, Best Cultural Programme, Best Sports Programme, Best Social Programme and Best Documentary Project.
First launched in 1999 as the Arab Journalism Award, the initiative was expanded in 2021 to cover a wider range of media disciplines.
Organisers say the award aims to encourage creativity, uphold professional standards and recognise media work that makes a meaningful contribution to Arab society.
Eligibility requirements, evaluation criteria and category details are available on the Arab Media Award's official website.
