Australia has thanked the UAE for helping evacuate its citizens from Afghanistan.
Scott Morrison, Prime Minister of Australia, commended the UAE's efforts during a phone call with His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
He expressed his appreciation for the UAE's support in evacuating Australian citizens, as well as several members of diplomatic missions of friendly countries, from Afghanistan.
Sheikh Mohamed and Morrison also exchanged views on a number of issues of mutual concern.
