A multi-million-dirham annual award that honours the best teachers in the region is being expanded to include two more countries.
Nominees from Egypt and Jordan are now eligible for the Mohamed bin Zayed Award for Best GCC Teacher, which covers eight nations.
It’s got a total prize pool of AED 8 million to reward educators from public and private schools that follow the Ministry of Education curriculum.
One winner from each of the eight participating countries will walk away with AED 1 million.
Applications have to be submitted by March 2020, and the award ceremony will be held in October 2020.
