The UAE has confirmed 1,083 new cases of COVID-19 after authorities carried out as many as 103,199 additional tests across the country.
Another 970 people have recovered, taking the total recovery tally to 76,995.
Meanwhile, one more patient has died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 406.
A total of 87,530 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 10,129 are currently active.
