The UAE has confirmed 1,973 new cases of COVID-19 from 202,068 tests.
Another 1,744 people have recovered, taking the overall recovery tally to 488,664.
Meanwhile, two more patients have died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 1,567.
A total of 506,845 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 16,614 are currently active.
