Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), has received his first dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine in Dubai.
He joins a long list of senior officials who are taking part in the Dubai Health Authority's free vaccination drive.

Fahad Ahmed Al Raisi, Dubai Government Workshop CEO, and Major General Expert Rashid Thani Al Matrooshi, Director General of Dubai Civil Defence, also received their primary jab today.

Frontline workers, Dubai residents over the age of 60, and those with chronic diseases are being given priority ahead of the second phase of the rollout in April.
