Dubai Municipality has announced that electric scooters are now banned in public parks.
In a post on Twitter, the authority stated the action is being taken to avoid accidents.
The post also issued a reminder that motorbikes are not allowed, and the maximum speed limit for cyclists is 15 km.
It advised park users to follow the instructions for everyone's safety.
