Dubai is recognising outstanding educators with Golden Visas under an initiative directed by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence.

The initiative honours teachers and educators in the private sector who have demonstrated exceptional performance and made a significant impact in shaping young minds across early childhood centres, schools and higher education institutions.

Announced to coincide with World Teachers' Day, the programme reflects Dubai’s commitment to supporting educators and recognising their vital role in shaping future generations.

It also supports the emirate’s Education 33 strategy, which aims to attract and retain inspiring educators, strengthen the quality of education and enhance Dubai’s competitiveness regionally and globally.

Since its launch on October 5, 2024, the initiative has received more than 835 applications from educators across the private education sector.

Candidates undergo a comprehensive and transparent assessment that considers academic qualifications, professional achievements, contributions to education and the wider community, as well as feedback from parents and students.

Eligibility is open to educators working in private early childhood centres, schools and higher education institutions who have demonstrated a sustained positive impact on educational quality and student outcomes.
