In a move to enhance customer convenience, the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) has launched a fully digital birth certificate issuance service.
This initiative enables parents to obtain official birth certificates in Arabic, English and Urdu without visiting a customer service centre.
The process starts with Dubai hospitals submitting birth notifications and documents through an electronic system.
Parents can then complete the application on the DHA’s website, select the number of copies needed, and make payments online.
Certificates will be issued within one working day and can be sent via email or mobile, with the option to request printed copies through courier.
In exceptional cases, in-person assistance is still available at DHA’s Customer Happiness Centre.
Dr. Ramadan Al Blooshi, Advisor to the DHA Director-General and Acting Director of the Public Health Protection Department, said the digital system is designed to save time and reduce administrative burdens, offering a faster, more flexible way to access important documents.
