The UAE’s Foreign Ministry is urging citizens travelling abroad to closely monitor their children, especially those with special needs. The reminder comes after two Emirati cousins who went missing in Germany were safely reunited with their family, following a two-day search operation. According to the national news agency WAM, Twairish Isa Jaber Al Khaili, a 20-year-old with special needs, and six-year-old Ahmed Suhail Al Khaili were located at a shelter home in Nuremberg. Officials from the ministry and the UAE Consulate in Munich coordinated with German police to trace the pair, after they were reported missing from Munich on Wednesday. The UAE’s Ambassador to Germany, Juma Mubarak Al Junaibi has thanked German authorities and local residents for their assistance.
