Several UAE carriers have cancelled services to and from Beirut in response to the increased tensions in Lebanon.
Emirates and Flydubai have cancelled flights between Dubai and Beirut on September 24 and September 25, while Air Arabia has cancelled Sharjah-Beirut and Abu Dhabi-Beirut services.
Etihad Airways' flights to and from Beirut were also cancelled until September 25. The airline said that guests booked on these services are being assisted with their travel arrangements.
Emirates added that "customers transiting through Dubai to Beirut will not be accepted for travel at their point of origin until September 26, 2024."
These carriers are closely monitoring the situation in Lebanon and are in contact with the relevant authorities regarding developments.
