Etihad Airways has diverted two flights to Muscat on Thursday following adverse weather conditions in Abu Dhabi.
In an official statement sent to ARN News, the airline stated that flights EY335 (from Kochi) and EY295 (from Karachi) will continue to Abu Dhabi on Friday.
Etihad noted that it is "working closely" with the impacted travellers to accommodate their itineraries and reach their final destination.
It added that some flights may experience a delay due to the weather conditions, with passengers advised to regularly check official channels for updates on flight statuses.
"The safety and comfort of our guests and crew is our highest priority, and we regret any inconvenience caused by adverse weather," the statement added.
Emirates and flydubai have also reminded passengers to ensure their booking is confirmed before heading to the airport, and allow additional time to reach the transport facility.
