A fire broke out at Dubai's Barasti Beach Bar on Monday morning, with flames and plumes of black smoke seen pouring from a beach shack located by the shore.
Le Meridien, the operator of the venue, said in a statement to ARN News, "We can confirm that in the early hours of this morning there was a fire in Barasti Beach Bar that was isolated to the Barasti Beach Shack on the shoreline. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
"There are no injuries and the fire was controlled and put out quickly. The safety and wellbeing of our guests and employees is our top priority and we continue to work with the authorities to support this."
