Dubai has announced free parking for motorists during the sterilisation programme, which runs until Sunday morning.
According to the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), public parking spots in the emirate will be free of charge from 8:00 pm to 6:00 am the next day.
This means that motorists won't have to feed the meters for two hours (between 8:00 pm and 10:00 pm), considering how the regular paid parking hours in Dubai are from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm.

Authorities have urged the public not to step out of their homes during the disinfection drive, except for emergency purposes.
