Dubai authorities have assured visitors of the Gold Souq that they’re providing the highest standards of safety and security in the area.
The tourist favourite located in Deira reopened on April 26, following comprehensive sterilisation efforts.
Stores follow reduced hours from 11am to 9pm, with an occupancy ceiling of 30 per cent capacity.

Outlets must follow physical distancing within stores, provide sanitisers, face masks and gloves to staff and customers as well as sanitise all the jewellery.

Dubai Police noted that during the sterilisation period, there were no cases of robbery in the area.
Shoppers can reach the Gold Souk by riding abras and Dubai Metro stations. Meanwhile, more than 600 car park spaces are also available for motorists.
