His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and the UAE's Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister, has offered his heartfelt condolences to the family of royal photographer Ramesh Shukla, who passed away on Sunday.
In a post shared on social media, Sheikh Hamdan said that Shukla "captured the early journey of the UAE and preserved defining moments in our nation’s history and visual memory".
He added that the photographer worked for six decades with the UAE, devoting to the country and its people "with deep loyalty and love".
Shukla, an Indian expat who was renowned for his photography work with the royal family, died at the age of 87 due to cardiac arrest.
