His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has been holding talks on the latest pandemic developments with India's External Affairs Minister.
Sheikh Mohamed met Subrahmanyam Jaishankar at Al Shati Palace in Abu Dhabi.
They reviewed the developments regarding the COVID-19 virus, and the importance of both nations' cooperation in pandemic containment, prevention and controlling its spread.
They also discussed the strategic relations between the two countries and ways of furthering bilateral cooperation and partnerships in political, investment and economic sectors.
In addition, they exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
Jaishankar conveyed to Sheikh Mohamed the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's greetings and wishes for the UAE's further progress and prosperity.
Sheikh Mohamed reciprocated the greetings to Prime Minister Modi and sent his best wishes to the people of India.
He noted that the relations between the two countries have witnessed remarkable growth, thanks to the nations' leadership.
