H.H. Sheikh Mohammed pays tribute to UAE President in personal message

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, paid tribute to UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Sunday, in a personal message reflecting on his leadership, character and role in shaping the country's future.

Addressing him as his "brother, friend and companion on the path", Sheikh Mohammed recalled their shared connection to the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and praised Sheikh Mohamed's leadership both at home and internationally.

He referred to Sheikh Mohamed's experience as a field commander during the liberation of Kuwait and the Kosovo conflict, as well as his response to international crises and disasters.

Sheikh Mohammed also highlighted the sense of security and optimism he said young people experience in the UAE, describing children's confidence in their future as one of the President's greatest achievements.

He said Sheikh Mohamed had transformed ambitions into institutions, ideas into projects and international relationships into economic, political and investment partnerships benefiting the country.

The message also praised the UAE President's focus on education, economic diversification, future industries and preparing younger generations to build on the country's achievements.

Sheikh Mohammed said the strength of a nation depended not only on infrastructure and development, but on the shared national spirit that brings people together and encourages future generations.

He concluded by saying the UAE's people stand with Sheikh Mohamed on his leadership journey, adding that future generations would remember his contribution to the country.
