His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE has reviewed Dubai Police's latest development plans and projects worth AED 2 billion.
Among the key initiatives is the new Dubai Police Academy building in Al Ruwayyah, which will accommodate 2,500 male and female students.
Other major projects include a new criminal data analysis centre, a specialized training centre in Hatta, and a new forensics building.
Sheikh Mohammed also reviewed the floating 'Smart Police Station' project as well as plans for the expansion of Bur Dubai police station.
He commended the efforts of Dubai Police and expressed his appreciation for the hard work of its officers and personnel.
His Highness emphasised that as the city expands, the responsibilities of the police force continue to grow, driven by the increasing demands of a global city.
